Our trip to Savannah, TN

Our family had the privilege of traveling to Savannah, TN to visit our good friends, Charlie and Jackie Agnew, and their son, TJ. The Agnews moved to Georgia in 2004, so, we only see them on rare occasion. Upon learning that they would be in Savannah for a few days to visit family, we decided it would be a great time to travel to Savannah to see them. We've been wanting to go for a while. Jackie's mom gave us an open invitation to visit her and to bring the children to see the farm. We had a wonderful time. I have posted some pictures of our visit.

The Agnew Family

My daughter discovered this swing at Jackie's parent's farm. We could hardly get her off of it.

This is my country girl enjoying Turkey Creek. She was the only one of my children who got in the water.

We stayed at the Pickwick Landing Inn while in Savannah. The lake is beautiful. This is a picture of my girls standing by the lake.

My two handsome men walking by the lake.

We also visited Shiloh National Military Park. Shane and I have both desired to visit this Civil War battle ground for a while. We are very glad that we did. Unbeknownst to us, there were some Civil War reenactors at the park. That made the visit to the park even more interesting.

We had a very wonderful time visiting our friends and learning a little about history. We are thankful for the sweet fellowship that the LORD blessed us with.
